This time, we have Maja Lapcevic, Senior Vice President of Innovation Management at Mastercard,  join us to share her insights and wisdom on How to Build a Future-Ready Organization and Catalyze Growth.

Maja is an accomplished leader specialized in the design, development, and execution of digital strategy, innovation management, and business transformation in payments and financial services. Startup, consulting, and technology experience in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Entrepreneurial and proven track record delivering high-impact results across projects that sit at the intersection of commerce and emerging technologies. Startup board experience.

As the Senior Vice President of Innovation Management at Mastercard, Maja runs global innovation management including the establishment of entrepreneurship programs, cultivating a culture of innovation, and developing enterprise-wide programs to teach provide employees with opportunities to build new growth opportunities.

Prior to joining Mastercard, Maja held several innovation roles at Citi Ventures, where she built an Emerging Technology practice to deepen the understanding of emerging technologies and their implications for Citi’s businesses and clients. She also co-headed the D10x Global Incubator program where she led the definition, design, and development of new products and services that solve unmet client needs by co-innovating with internal and external partners. And in her role in Venture Investing, she was responsible for startup sourcing, investment, and commercialization focusing on Commerce Payments, FinTech, and Market Technology domains. Prior to Citi, Maja held numerous leadership roles in startups including the mobile payments startup, InternetQ, and her own country branding practice, SML Strategic Media.
